My name is Julian founder of Sanderson clothing!
It all started in 2025, because of my love of everything tropical and vintage style beachwear. I wanted to design clothing that I would wear, that I wasn’t seeing out there already. Also being a musician I love the fashion and style that bands wear, so wanted to incorporate that into the brand.
The inspiration behind the name was from one of my ancestors James Sanderson who had a leather business in South Africa called Sandersons. It has been a dream of mine for a while now to create a brand and carry on the family name Sanderson. I also just love the name and think it sounds cool!
With minimalistic yet funky designs with Sanderson products I wanted to make ashtheticly pleasing clothing, I am also a big believer in buying with purpose and intention so would always push people to think about what they are purchasing. After years of sourcing and testing great quality products I have found reliable and sustainable clothing that will last and benefit the environment.
